All students must use the Seat Management System before occupying a seat in the Library. Those who occupy a seat without reservation may be requested to vacate the seat by the librarians or other students.
Don’t leave your belongings such as books and cups on unattended seats at any time. The student who reserves a seat has the right to use it regardless of the presence of others’ belongings on the seat. You should not leave personal belongings unattended; the library is not liable for any loss or damage to your personal property.
The library staff will inspect every morning, once they found a seat-occupying behavior, the items would be packaged and sent to the reference desk on the 3rd floor, so that other readers to use.
If you reserve your seat and do not use it, a different student can request a librarian to make the seat available. Upon receiving such request, the librarian can permit the student to use the seat. When the person who reserved the seat wishes to use it, he/she can ask for the seat to a librarian.
Please return your seat for others to use when you leave your seat. If you return your seat on system, more students can use the seat. Let others have a chance, too.
